Lawns are one of the main elements within the garden and therefore the design and method of installation is crucial to their success and to the success of the garden. We can advise on the type and shape of the lawn as well where to site it taking into account how it will link with the rest of the garden. We provide a complete lawn installation service form weed control, soil preparation through to seeding or turfing and mowing. We also carry out routine maintenance works including grass cutting, weed control, fertiliser application, moss control and scarrifying.

Seeding a lawn is usually the cheapest method but it takes up to a year before the lawn can be subjected to heavy wear. Turfing although more expensive, gives an immediate visual effect, and the lawn may be used within two to three months. It is advisable to use turf if you have pets that may disturb grass seedlings before they are established.
