Decking

Timber decking is a popular alternative to stone patios especially in drier climates. Decks may be used anywhere provided they are constructed from timber that is pressure treated, or from composite decking boards. As with all surfaces decks should be well maintained, kept free from debris and algae to prevent them becoming a slip hazard. All wooden decks need regular maintenance to check for cracks and splits and re application of stains on an annual basis.
